How to use the poker odds calculator
- Click two cards for your hand. They fill the "Your hand" slots in order.
- Add the flop, turn and river as they are dealt, or leave the board empty to see your preflop odds.
- Set the number of opponents still in the hand. More opponents means a lower chance for any hand to win.
- Read your win percentage. Enter the pot and the bet you face to compare your chance with the pot odds.
Click a filled slot to clear it, or use "Clear all" to start a new hand.
How the calculator works
The calculator deals your opponents random two-card hands and finishes the board thousands of times, then counts how often your hand wins, splits or loses. Wins count fully and splits count by their share. This is called equity, and it is shown as your Percent Match.
Real opponents rarely hold random hands. A player who raises usually has a stronger hand than average, so your real chance can be lower than shown. Use the number as a guide, not a guarantee.
Odds calculator FAQ
Is this poker odds calculator free?
Yes. It is free, needs no account, and runs in your browser, so your cards are never sent anywhere.
What is equity in poker?
Equity is your share of the pot on average if the hand were played out many times. A hand with 60% equity wins or splits about 60% of the time in the long run.
How many opponents should I choose?
Choose the number of players still in the hand, not the number at the table. Players who have folded no longer count.
How accurate are the percentages?
They come from simulation, so they can move by about a percentage point between runs. They also assume random opponent hands, which makes them an estimate of your chances rather than a promise.
What are pot odds?
Pot odds are the price of a call compared to the size of the pot. Divide the amount you must call by the pot after you call. If your equity is higher than that percentage, the call is profitable in the long run.
